Hundreds take on Step Up Sky Tower Challenge

Hundreds of brave Kiwis from all over the country stepped up for the annual Step Up Sky Tower challenge, to raise money for one of SKYCITY’s charity partners, Leukaemia & Blood Cancer New Zealand (LBC).

The money raised from the challenge helps LBC conduct research and also supports the six Kiwis diagnosed every day with a blood cancer or related condition and their families.

Around 500 people participated in the run up the 1103 steps to the top of the Sky Tower, raising more than $400,000 for the cause - an amazing result.
