ASX/NZX - NZICC-related Regulatory Concessions Commence

SKYCITY ENTERTAINMENT GROUP LIMITED (SKC) SIGNS CONSTRUCTION CONTRACTS AND NEW REGULATORY CONCESSIONS COMMENCE

On 27 October 2015 SKYCITY Entertainment Group Limited (SKC) announced that SKYCITY and The Fletcher Construction Company Ltd had entered into a binding commitment letter which records the agreed commercial and legal terms of the building works contracts for the New Zealand International Convention Centre (NZICC) and Hobson Street hotel.

At the time, SKYCITY said it expected formal signing of the two building works contracts in November, once a small number of outstanding matters had been satisfied.

SKYCITY now confirms that it has signed the building works contracts for the Convention Centre and Hobson Street Hotel with Fletcher Construction and that as a result, the regulatory concessions conferred by the New Zealand International Convention Centre Act 2013 are now operative and will now be activated.
