RE: SKYCITY ENTERTAINMENT GROUP LIMITED (SKC) CHANGE TO ASX FOREIGN EXEMPT LISTING STATUS

SKYCITY Entertainment Group Limited has changed its ASX listing category from a ‘Standard Listing’ to a ‘Foreign Exempt Listing’ effective from 7 January 2016.

SKYCITY has taken advantage of recent changes to the ASX Listing Rules, which enable companies that are dual-listed on the ASX with a primary listing on a foreign exchange to comply with a limited set of ASX Listing Rules in addition to the rules of its home exchange.

The ASX Foreign Exempt Listing category is based on a principle of substituted compliance recognising that, for secondary listings, the primary regulatory role and oversight rest with the home exchange and the supervisory regulator in that jurisdiction.

SKYCITY will continue to be listed on both the NZX and the ASX.

Yours faithfully

Peter Treacy
Company Secretary
